My car was running well but for past 3-4 months it has started giving some problems. I have no problems when I start it in the morning or press the gas when the car is in parking or is neutral, even if the temperature outside is zero. But when I put it in gear (forward or reverse) even if the car is hot, it misfires as soon as even little effort is made to make it to move. When I accelerate, it misfires a lot. If I'm accelerating slowly (very slow), things seem OK. But when I push the gas, even if it is little bit more it misfires. Same thing happens when the car is driven on incline and most of the times when the car is running at constant 55+ miles. I havent checked anything in the car and planning to go for check this weekend. Can you please guide what all things should be checked first in this case.
