Nissan Sentra Repair Question

Fuel pump or crank shaft sensor problem?
My car is a 2002 Nissan sentra gxe 1.8 liter 100,000 miles. My car for the first time stalled today, and would turn over but not get past 1rpm unitl it would not turn over at all and after 5 minutes started back up like it was fine then was sluggish for 1-2 miles of driving. We then drove 5 more miles without a problem and stopped again for 30 minutes and it started again without a problem. Approximaley 10 miles down the road it stalled and we need to wait again for 5-10 minutes before it would start again. This happen 2 more times over the next 20 miles beofre we got home. I then drove the car that night after letting it sit for 2 hours and it drove fine for 20 miles. Does this sound like a fuel pump problem - I have also been told that it could be a crank shaft sensor as these are the two things that came up on diagnositic testing.
