What to do next after replacing ERG valve? The check engine is still lit. Do the computer need to be reset? Or do I need to do something else? I just bought the car three weeks ago from an auction so not much history.

Good evening.

On the old OBD1 systems, when the correct repair is performed for a fault code, the light will go out on its own.

Since the light did not go out, the repair was incorrect.

Can I have the code number so I can help you with the repair?
