1999 Nissan Quest Front Wheel Drive Automatic

After a oil change on my wifes nissan quest the check engine light came on then the engine quit. After further inspectiion I found large amounts of oil in the drive way and where it had quit. Could the oil pressure switch malfunction and cause the engine to pump out the oil?

Normally it's impropper oil filter installation, either wrong part number, or old "O" ring seal still against filter mounting surface. Remove the filter and check for an extra seal!
