1988 Nissan Pulsar Repair Question

Not turning over, no clicking, power to
Electrical problem
1988 Nissan Pulsar 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 168000 miles
I have a 1988 Nissan Pulsar NX SE that refuses to start. It was running great, I parked it for two minutes and it didnt start back up. I have full lights inside and out. I can hear the fuel pump cutting on when I turn the key but there is no clicking, very little headlight dimming, and no attempt to turn over. I can start it by "rolling start."
Any ideas?

Possibilities here could be battery connections, starter, starter interlock relay, clutch switch and ignition switch

We just had exactly the same problem last week with our holden astra 1988. Same car apparently. It was the Altinator wire that was loose and wasnt charging the battery. Check your wires make sure that they are all connected to the fuse box and that nothing is loose. Good luck
