1993 Nissan Primera Automatic

Hi there.

Ummm my car all of a sudden just wouldn't turn on.
Before that I noticed that it was over heating so I bought some coolant and put that in the car. That was all good. Then I took off, started driving, then the next time I turned the car off that was it. Just stopped turning over.
All the electricals go. Lights turn on and everything, radio and such. Its when I turn the key theas no jolt or kick, no noise to say that it might turn over.
But when I do turn the key a light does come on.
A little sign that looks like a pipe square with three steam lines.

Heas hoping you can help me please.
Just wanting to know if its my cars majorly damaged.

What is it doing? Cranking over and will not start or won't crank over at all/nothing

Check the battery/connection if okay -start checking the starter, starter relay, park and neutral position switch and ignition switch.
