What are some of the reason for the power steering pump to seize up. My mechanic told me that was the promblem why the power steering belt burst a few times. I have since changed the pump, it worked well for a while and then once again the belt burst. He told me that I need a new pump. But Iam concern that there might be another issue which caused the pump to seize. Please explain.
