1997 Nissan Pathfinder Repair Question

: lacks power on both flat roads and hills
I have a Nissan Pathfinder 1997, 2X4, six cylinders, 76,000 miles. A couple of months ago I noticed that the engine lacked power on both flat roads and hills.
I went to a car computer technician and they installed a new ignition...however it did not solve the problem.
The same technician tested the car with a new flow meter sensor and the new ignition...once again it did not solve the problem.
Another technician examined the monolithycs... they are clean and OK.
Can you tell me what can be wrong with this scenario? Any ideas?

Have the fuel pressure check -this will ID a problem with the filter, pressure regulator, and pump.
The Cat did they remove it and visually check it or its an assumption.
I would recommend a backpressure check on the exhaust system.

Sounds crazy-but try the knock sensor-might be retarding the ignitiion timing by sensing detonation/spark knock
