I recently replaced the rear shocks as well as the front struts on my vehicle. This greatly reduced the side to side wobble that I was experiencing. I know that I still need an alignment. When I am on the highway and I let my foot off of the gas too quickly the vehicle still has slight side to side movement, almost as if it is going to fishtail. What could the problem be? Also, is an alignment a do it yourself job?

I have a 2000 pathy and just replaced the shocks and struts also and also experiencing that same shimmy feeling. I told someone today about it and they drove it and said its the tie rod end? And an alignment needs to be done by a specialist by bringing it to the nearest tire shop done by special equipment. Shouldnt be more than 50 bucks. Good luck
