Occasionally when I start my car the blower doesn't work. The compressor on the AC still works as cold air still leaks through the vents. I have the semiautomatic system, but it doesn't make any difference if the fan is on AUTO or settings 1-3. Sometimes it stays off for 30 seconds, sometimes for 15 minutes, and sometimes it works immediately. Once it cuts back on it stays on until the next time I turn on my car. This started happening last summer then went away. Now that it's hot again the problem is back. It seems to happen more often when the car has been parked in the sun for a while. When it happens I've tried every combination of turning things off and on and using different settings, but nothing turns it back on. It seemingly comes back on randomly.

I'm not aware of any other problems with the vehicle that this could be linked to. It's an LE model. I'm willing to try anything that might fix it. Thanks in advance!

Maybe the AC control head or bad connection.
Get to the blower motor behind glove box. And with meter or test light see if prower is there when motor fails. If power motor is bad or connection faulty.

I won't have a chance to try it until early next week. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll get back to you.
