I just finished replaceing the 4th clutch release lever in my '86 Nissan V6 hardbody 5 speed with 285K. The last one lasted only 6 mo. The others lasted somewhat longer.

So what's happening? Anybody got a clue? The pivot pin is BREAKING, not wearing, through the socket. These are OEM parts.

The clutch is working just fine otherwise.
