1989 Nissan NX Acting like it wants to die

1989 Nissan NX Two Wheel Drive Manual 115540 miles
I just bought this car. I'm not sure how long it sat. But today I was headed to work and after 30 mins of driving it started bogging. Acting like there's no fuel left. I know there's fuel in there I just put some in the nite before. I was wondering what could the problem be????

did this happen while on the highway?

Yes it did. But it also happen in town driving.

there would be several things to check, several possibilities , fuel filter, catalytic converter, plugs and wires, egr valve, mass airflow sensor,intake air temp sensor, so many things, dirty throttlebody, or air intake. does it have a check engine light on? or did it blink when it happened?
