Its in between the engine and transmission-follow the positve battery cable's other end-you'll find it.

If you follow the cable from the battery positive terminal, you would end up with the starter.

Not many tools required, but flexible hands helps. You need 12 mm, 14 mm ring and box spanners.

Remember to remove battery negative terminal fiirst.

Just follow positive cable battery down through engine compartment if you have difficulty finding starter. To remove starter, disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle if necessary. Disconnect starter wiring. Remove starter mounting bolts and starter.

The solenoid is within the starter where your battery positive cable hooks up to and the starting circuit
