Hi,
I own a Nissan Maxima GLE v6, 1995 model. It is currently around 113000 miles.
Yesterday when I steer by wheel anticlockwise to a full extent, I heard some creeching noise came up. When I steered back it became normal. However this noise or some vibration comes when I steer to the maximum extent. Does this a normal one or should I consult a mechanic immediately. Or is it something because of the old power steering fluid? Will it be ok if I change the fluid. If this is due a failure or a mechanical part how much do you think it will cost. Pls advice.

Usually when you turn total right or left and it screeches its because the pump has run out of fluid to use so check your fluid levels carefully then see if your problem is gone. Good luck :)
