My windshields wiper stop working from time to time. They will be on and all of a sudden they stop working, always in the off position. If I leave it for a while, then flip the handle down to the fast speed it will start working again. Or if I stop and rest the car for a while, then turn the engine back on they start working again. But it seems like every twenty minutes they stop working. Could this be a bad motor?

About a week ago my wipers were working fine, then one day I turned them on and while on a low setting they would "vibrate" against the window and make this loud sound, but if you touched them it would start to wipe. But every time they went down and came back up they would again vibrate. This continued to happen for one whole rainy day. The next day I needed to use the wipers and they came on (without vibrating) and then just stopped working. Now they are stuck in the "upward" position
and have been stuck for several days. I thought it may have been the motor, but is it possible it is as simple as a fuse? Where do I begin with this?

Car has twice left us stranded after having been turned off for a few minutes and then will not start. Did not respond to a jump. The first time, we replaced the battery and it worked for three months. The second time, it started miraculously after sitting for thirty minutes after jumping did not help. Now, it has been starting; however, occasionally the radio, AC and wipers stop working for a minute or so although the car continues to run. Also, when starting the car, we often notice the ignition feels "tight"when turning on the car. Any ideas?
