2001 Nissan Maxima Air bag light on the dash board blinks
The air bag light on the dash board is blinking. Can you tell me how to reset it? Also, if I reset it will the airbag be deployed when needed? I presume here that the airbag light will only be reset if there is no problem with the airbag itself and the sensor for the airbag is malfunctioning and resetting the sensor will take care of malfunctioning of the sensor and thus the airbag will be deployed when needed.

Hi there,
You will have to do a fault code read to determine the exact fault with the SRS system. just re setting the system is not enough , the code will re set if a problem exists and the SRS system Will be in-op until the fault is rectified.
