1994 Nissan Maxima recomended engine oil
hi,
I am in Ghana,west africa to be pricise. Please tell me the recomended engine oil that will be ok for my car.
Please also suggest to me what i should do to keep my engine for a very long time

Hi ekowmichael,
Check out the local recommendations, which would be more accurate however I believe 20w50 would do ok.
The most important thing to keep the engine life longer is to ensure the oils and filters are changed when due. Try not to use oil treatment.
Another equally important thing to remember is to have the cooling system working well.
Maintenance items like beltings should be changed when due and you can use the car for many years to come.
