1991 Maxima Loss of Power and Stalling

I have a 1991 Nissan Maxima with @ 120,000 miles. I think I have a gremlin. The RPM's drop and the car won't accelerate with out warning. Sometimes it will stall at lights and slow speeds. It will immediately start right back up. I been to Nissan and several mechanics with no reslults. The spark plugs, wires, fuel injection harnnesses have been changed. The elertical wires have been checked and secured. The nissan mechanic took it for a ten mile drive and nothing happen. It is very inconsistant. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It would be ashame to get rid of a car that 90% of the time it rides fine.

It sound slike you need another mechanic. The 1st thing is to change the fuel filter and do an fuel pressue test. Any check engine light on??

Remember back to basics.
