1984 Datsun 710 Driverside Door Will Not Stay Shut

I need assistance in keeping my door shut while I'm driving. It use to shut, but today for some odd reason, I thought my door was shut until I made a right turn and it swung open, it was a good thing I had my seat belt on or else I would have fallen out. Please help me, it's hard to drive manually and at the same time holding your door shut.

Open the door panel and investigate might want to use WD40 and spray all over the door latch mechanism
