2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid starting my hybrid
Computer problem
2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 37865 miles
when i push the ignition button the car keeps telling me to push the brake. everything on the car turns on like normal but when i engage the gear shifter to a gear nothing happens. again, the light is telling me push the brake like i need to start the engine.

You really need to return the vehicle to the dealer to be repaired under the warrenty .. sounds like the fault may be in the HVC (Hybrid Vehicle Control) ECU .. it will have to be plugged into the nissan Consult III diagnostic scanner to locate the actual cause of the fault !
