I was just wondering what would make a squealing or screetching noise somewhere under the hood when my a/c is on? It only happen's when my a/c is on and I'm accelerating. It makes a loud screetching sound for about 3 or 4 seconds until my car switches gears or until I let off of the gas. Is it a belt that's loose or something? What can I do to fix it? I have a 98 Nissan Altima. It's an automatic and has no fluid leaks. It has 102 thousand miles on it. I'm not sure if any of the belts have been changed before but I'm willing to bet that they have been. Please let me know when you have a chance. Thanks, "Craig"
