Im having a problem my belt shakes and makes a noise when I have the air on and the car is in drive. I have replaced the belt and tensioner. But I got the tensioner at a parts store I was told the tensioner need to come from the dealer the nissian altima are not designed good for after market parts. Could you please tell me if that will fix it. The belt came from the dealer and it didnt fix but I havent got the tensioner from the dealer yet.

HI there,

Thank you for the donation,

I would be fitting the genuine tensioner, that way you know that it is the correct one for your car, also make sure that the belt is the correct length and not to long as if it is a bit larger no tensioner will take up all the slack,
