Interior problem
2001 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I'd like to know some things to consider before trying to replace a driver's side power front door. I'm concerned about the electrical connection and was wondering if it is pretty straight-forward. Trying to replace a dented door with a used one that matches color. Thanks!

It's fairly straight forward. The connector is hidden in the kick panel. You may have to remove the rubber grommet and some of the foam insulation before you are able to reach it. If you don't need the old door, to make things easier you can just snip the wires coming out of the door and then try to access the connector once the door is completely removed. It also helps to make marks where the hinges sit to aid in alignment.

You may also have to switch over the interior which is also pretty easy, just one connection for the window control switch and you'll need to reconnect the door pull if one did not come on the newer door.
