After driving on the highway for about 15 minutes, vapor or white smoke starts coming out of the vents. While this is happening the AC is not blowing as cold. Once I am off the highway it returns to normal. I am usually driving on the highway with overdrive on but I do not think that is related to the problem with the AC. Any advice will be very helpful.

Hi s14power,

Thank you for the donation.

Symptom indicates the cooling coil is frosting ( icing )
and if you had turned the freesh air vents on, it would occur as the air would cause the evaporator to freeze if the temperature setting is set to very low.

Check for fresh air leaksages into the cabin and try not to turn the temp to minimum.
