Engine Cooling problem
1991 Nissan 240SX Two Wheel Drive Manual 172200 miles

my nissan 240sx 1991, goes half way on the temperture gage, some time a little more high, the water on the reserve bottlle is boiling at times, the waterpump is farelly new and there is no thermostat, I thought that was the problem, is it normal that the water be boiling?

Bleed the cooling system out and see what happens-and put on a thermostat it plays a part of the engine management control system.

The radiator electric fan is it coming on?

Bleeding the system don't work-get it block and pressure tested.
