1986 Nissan 200SX Slow acceleration
Transmission problem
1986 Nissan 200SX 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 277000 miles
The car runs fine, no rattles, sounds or pings and the transmission is as responsive as a new car.
When I start out from a stop, it's slow to accelerate, but once it's up to speed it's fine. A friend said the bands may need to be tightened.
What are bands, and how expensive are they to tighten.
Otherwise, this is a nice little fun car to drive.
