My left hand turn blinker does not work

My left hand turn blinker will work briefly and then speed up and not work at all. The dashboard does show a message "left bulb failure". We have tried to have it fixed for quite some time and nothing seems to work. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the circuit driver in the lighting module has failed, but just in case, so some additional checks by following these links,
