Where is the noise coming from?
Is the Malfunction Indicator Light showing?
Have you checekd for trouble codes?
Is the engine oil level correct? How is the condition of the engine oil?
Was any repairs done prior to this?

The oil was recently changed as of two months ago, the noise sounds as if it's coming from the left side of the car. I've not had any lights come on nor have I gotten the trouble codes ran. Only recent work that has been done was the struts and valve cover gasket replacement.

You need to locate the source of the noise as we can't understand what could be wrong without know the source.
