HOW TO ADJUST THE IDLE OF A 97 ECLIPSE GST
1997 Mitsubishi Other
I have a 1997 Eclipse GST, and I've been having problems with the idle. Ever since I replaced the Idle Speed Servo and the Fast Idle Valve, due to " wear and tear', my car has been idling around 4-500 RPM. The mechanic said it should idle around 7-800 RPM, but that it should self-correct. I have brought it back several times and each time they " reset the computer" and say it should self-correct, but it doesn't. Is there any way that I can adjust the idle myself?
