Recently had to get my N reg space wagon (2litre, petrol) to the garage where it turned out the petrol was contaminated with diesel. Fuel system has been flusehd out and fresh fuel in, also the plugs have been changed. Will this have damaged the catalytic converter? Is there an easy way for me to tell, or do I have to go to a garage and get the emissions tested? If it is damaged, will it be an expensive repair?
