1994 Other Mitsubishi Models Truck wont start on rainy days

Hi,
Vehicle has about 166k. It generally runs fine, however on rainy days I cannot get the it to start. During rain showers tt used to eventually start after prolonged cranking and pumping the fuel pedal. However this last rain shower, I could not get it to start at all. Also, if I go thru a large puddle it will sputter to a stop. I have to walk to a coffee shop, and return after it dries out, at which time it stats right up, just like on a dry day. I have changed out the fuel filter. examined the distributer cp for cracks, none i can see. What else shoulf I try? I am thinking of replacing the entire distributer assembly....
