I have a Mitsubishi MT 300 and I have a problem. While mowing my yard with the finishing mower last weekend, the tractor came to a sudden stop and died. Awhile later, I tried it again and it ran for about 20 feet and did the same thing. Now when I start it, it will run fine as long as I am pressing the clutch in, however when I start to let off of the clutch, the tractor stalls out and dies without moving. The range and speed gears all seem to move in and out just fine…I checked all of these because I first thought it was my transmission locking up. Do you have any suggestions as to what it may be?
