I have recently replaced the battery in my montero sport and know with no warning the vehicle will not crank over? All the lights work and battery shows 12v any suggestions on what may cause this problem?

Do you or did you have a alarm system? Usually there is a push button switch under dash that you can push in then turn key to run and this by passes alarm. Or if there is a silver toggle switch you can turn key to run then switch the switch the opposite direction then this usually resets alarm.

I'm not sure if I have an Alarm I purchased the car used and was only given a copy of the original key, I hear a clicking sound under the dash when the key is turned I played around down there and the car turned on, do you think my relay might be the problem?
