Engine Performance problem

I want to know ,if i have a big crack in the exhaust header it will decrease the starting acceleration of my engine ? by the way the real problem is my car star slow and cant go up in hills easy it take time about 10 or 15 sec but went i start the air happens the same i have to pull the acceleration pedal full for get acceleration
