Engine Performance problem
1996 Mitsubishi Legnum 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

hi I have a mitsubishi legnum 1996 vr4 station wagon
i have changed the coils, spark plugs and the car is still missing. You have to flat foot it to drive. I had two mitsubishi dealers hav a look at it and they cant find the problem and I dont have the money to keep taking the car back and forward to them. Do you have any ideas what might be wrong.

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge to rule out the fuel pump
