Engine Performance problem
1987 Mitsubishi Lancer 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi I restored a 1987 mitsubishi lancer. Changed the carburator kit, conditioned the engine. But I noticed lately when im running the car and released on my accelarator pedal the engine will stop. But I have no problem starting it again. I also noticed that the temperatire gauge of my car is at its lowest point. Is this the reason that my engine stops because of low temp?

Hi there, this sounds like an idle speed problem, do not have any info on the carby, but can you tell me if it has an idle solenoid? It will be a round solenoid on the carby with one wire.
