Catalytic Converter

are there two sensors for my 05 Galant catalytic converter and should I replace them before replacing the converter. My engine light is on and I was told it could be my converter.

You should replace the sensor when you replace the catalytic converter which is a good idea here are tow guides to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.
