1999 Mitsubishi Galant What Is that Noise?

On cold mornings my car makes a very loud rattling noise when it is first started up after sitting all night. If I don't let it warm up and just back out, the accelarator sticks a bit at first after putting it into drive. As I drive, the loud noise continues as I accelerate until the car warms up. The sound stops while the car is idling at a stop light. Then when I take off, the sound starts up again. After the car is warmed up, the sound is still there but not as loud.

HI there,

The sticking throttle will be that the throttle plate will need cleaning, this is a simple job for your mechanic, as for the noise, is it constant with engine speed?
