1994 Mitsubishi Expo Water accumulation in exhaust pipe
Engine Mechanical problem
1994 Mitsubishi Expo 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 122,00 miles
All readings are normal but car won't pass OR DEQ "smoke test" as steam/smoke comes out of exhaust pipe while running. When I run my finger inside the pipe, I come out with moisture and after gunning the engine, there is a small puddle on the driveway. Otherwise, no performance issues.
Is this perhaps a head gasket and if so, would I be better off trying sodium silicate or some other 'fix' before an expensive repair?
