I have beem having some trouble with my car overheating for the past 3 months or so. I have changed out the thermostat and bought a new radiator and it is still overheating. After I installed the new radiator it was working fine for about 30 minutes of driving and then I noticed the temperature gauge started going up until it finally reached the max. I pulled into the driveway and noticed the water in the radiator reservoir was boiling. Do you have any ideas or suggestions as to what could be causing it to overheat? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I thought someone answered this -- anyways you might have a head gasket leak. It could be leaking gases into the cooling system and blowing your radiator fluid out. Do a compression check. If yiou find a low cylinder, pull the head, get it checked out at a machine shop, then install a new gasket.

Be sure and check your oil in case radiator fluid is dripping into a cylinderand ending up in your crankcase. If so --drain your oil immediately and don't run it until you fix it.
