I have been trying to fix my car for 8 months now and the computer diagnose will tell me that there is nothing wrong with my car. My car will run perfectly until the RPM hits 3000 RPM. Once the needle hits between 3 & 4, my car will start cutting off as if the power cuts off. The RPM needle will start going back to the 3 when it cuts off and back to the 4 when it comes back this will happen while i keep stepping the pedal enough for the car to run steady. Once i hit the pedal to the metal, it jumps out of the cut off part and it will accelerate fine. if i keep the pedal to the metal, my battery icon will lit but the car will not turn off. i have changed the alternator, battery, gas pump/filter. Note that when the car is cutting off it will keep doing so until i decelerate or accelerate away from the 3 & 4 RPM but if i keep it there it will not shut off however it will backfire and it will start smelling like raw gasoline. I took it to the 8th electrician and he told me it would be the map sensor but i replaced it and it is still doing the same thing. Please help!! Thanx in advance!

Sincerely,
Carlos
