My eclipse will turn over but will not start. I have checked my fuel pump and relays and they both work fine. when i plug my pump back together i do not think i am getting any voltage to it. Can i jumper out the wire harness to check for faulty connection somewhere? If so what point do I need to get on?
Thank You Mike

Hi. Thank you for your question..... Lets see if we can figure out whats going on here. you say the fuel pump is working? question.... If you turn the key to the on position can you hear the fuel pump under the seat hum? please let us know. if so, you may check for spark by unplugging a plug wire off the spark plug, take a phillip screwdriver stick in the end of the wire, lay it 1/4 inch away from a metal part of the engine , crank your car over to see if we have any spark. hey man I have two 96 eclipses. & a 95 & a 2000 they can have me pulling my hair out sometimes. something as simple as a faulty iat sensor may cause a no start condition on that 96 eclipse. that usually can be checked by pulling a code off the computer... Got a friend that has a scanner? anyways, I would not recommend jumping the fump.... & Hope this is some help to you. please let us know what happens Thanks.Leon
