Just bought the car and it appears to be burning oil. I have only had the car for 2 weeks and it already needing a complete fill for oil. Did I get a lemon?

Does it leak oil all over the drive way?
Id say if it doesnt and if it uses 5 quarts in 2weeks you may have gotten a bad deal.
Does it blow blue exahaust out the tail pipe?
Check it over for leaks,
check around the valve cover gasket for leaks and also if the spark plugs are in the middle of the valve cover gasket like I think they are pull the wires out and look down in the holes see if they are full of oil if so try replacing the valve cover gasket. If not and it really burns that much oil its time for a rebuild or a new engine. Keep me up to date.
