Good Day,
I have a 1978 Fiat X19 with UNO turbo motor, I was fitting a new Sebring 3bar external electrical fuel pump, and mistakenly connected the positive wire to the car body and earth wire to power.
When I turned the ignition everything went dead, no ignition no dash lights, no starter.I checked all fuses found nothing blown, I noticed the interior light coming on slowly, when door is open but when I turn ignition or press hooter the light goes off.
I also noticed that there is no power from battery to starter.I used a test light on battery and noticed neg terminal is giving power wen touched to body not the positive one. The car battery is fine.
Please help

You've made the battery into a positive ground. Replace it with a new one.
