2005 Mini Cooper S engine temp related noise
Noises problem
2005 Mini Cooper S 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 24000 miles
Only when the engine temp exceeds approx 200, does a loud noise, a low pitched grinding noise, appears. It started this last fall, but did not occur while the weather was colder. The other day while idling in a drive through, the temp went up and the noise came back. A/C was not running. What gives?
