I have had to replace my engine mounts twice in two years. This last time the new ones only lasted about two months. What could be causing them to go out so quickly?

They are solid mounts. The first time I replaced them the mechanic used the cheapest ones he could find ( I was unaware of this). This new mechanic I took the car to put a high end product on. So I will have them look at the tranny mount.

Thank you all so much for your help. Today we ended up replacing the right axle. This also had been replaced two years ago. When they opened the boot it was bone dry. Its seems that when they rebuilt this axle someone for got to put the grease in it.
