The shoulder seat belt is frozen in the on position and will not retract along the frame above the door.
The shoulder belt is automatic and the lap belt is manual. I can hear the belt motor making a "grinding" noise. I have taken the car to two repair facilities and they said they can't fix it. I am afraid that the motor will heat up and start a fire. Since it is on the driver's side, it is VERY inconvenient.
How can I disconnect it or repair?
