1999 Mercury Tracer, 98,000K, 4-cylinder, front-wheel drive, 4 door sedan. When I turn on my car, and turn on the air conditioner, it works find, though the compressor is a little noisy. After 10 to 15 minutes, the air starts running hot, wih no compressor sound. After about 10 to 15 minutes, the compressor tries to work again, only this time, stays hot and has a burning smell. Need possible repair options and prices. Thanks.
