1995 Mercury Tracer Repair Question

1995 Mercury Tracer Grinding noise at 1/2 wheel rotation sp
Noises problem
1995 Mercury Tracer 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 140000 miles
My tracer started making a metal rolling/grinding noise that has been consistently getting worse. It occurs at about 1/2 the wheel rotation speed and a 15% duty cycle.
I jacked up the can and rotated the wheel by hand. When rotating the left wheel I didn't hear anything. When rotating the right wheel I just barely heard the noise, but couldn't locate it.
When driving the noise is pretty loud, not really noticeable until 10mph, and does not change base on wheel angle (going strait, turning either direction).
Any idea what's going on with my Tracer?
