Transmission problem
1995 Mercury Tracer 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 130000 miles

What would cause a hopping/jumping of the car while engaging in first and sometimes second gear. Car runs great, gear shift seems to flow well in and out of the gears . But the car will hop like it is missing some teeth in the gears.
